Visual Arts Content Standards Addressed:

04(4). The visual arts educator is able to teach students about the history of art including that in contemporary and past cultures, with an emphasis on:

04(4)(a). The contributions of the arts to the development of civilization and culture.

04(4)(c). The influence of the arts on subsequent and current culture(s).

04(4)(d). How the arts are an academic discipline that can relate, connect and transfer to a multitude of life experiences, subjects and disciplines such as math; science; reading, writing and communicating; and social studies.

04(5)(a). Formulate and articulate judgments about works of art based on objective and subjective rationale.
