Last year, I earned my Colorado
K-12 Initial Teacher License.
I am thankful for the opportunity to use my Initial License to create meaningful bonds with students in the art studio.
B.A. Studio Art
& Art History
In 2022, I graduated with a Combined Major in Studio Art and Art History.
Due to the nature of my degree, I now understand the importance of studying both the act of creating art and the act of understanding the rich history of art. I strive to incorporate this understanding into all
my lessons.
Currently Pursuing M.A. Education
My masters courses have allowed me to transform from a confident artist to a compassionate art teacher. Developing my understanding of topics such as differentiation, backwards design planning, and 21st Century Learning have reinforced my teaching philosophy.
I look forward to completing my capstone project in 2025.
